BrilliantJade is a Traditional Medicine concept created by Camilla Scott and being practiced in her Clinic in Copenhagen and through individually tailored treatment programmes in Rome.
Camilla was immersed in sport activities from an early age and has competed in athletics, gymnastics, and volleyball. She played professional basketball for the Italian first division A.S. Roma Club winning the 1984 European Female Basketball Championship "Coppa Ronchetti" in Belgrade, former Yugoslavia. The step to studies in Chinese Medicine and Reflexology followed after a sport injury and brought her to being responsible for training programmes and management of sport centers in Europe and the West Indies.
Camilla has a particular interest in Five Elements Acupuncture and has undertaken research on the emotional aspect of sport injuries and their rehabilitation; the importance of uniting spirit & emotions with the physical body is at the core of her philosophy as a human being and a Chinese Medicine Practitioner; she decided therefore to combine her knowledge of the sports world with Chinese Medicine and Reflexology to help injured athletes regain their physical, emotional and spiritual health. She has also worked several years for the United Nations (UNICEF, WHO, ICTY) as project coordinator for NGO projects related to children's health and war-crime justice research programmes.
Camilla has completed her formal schooling in Italy where she was brought up. She attended and graduated from: CICM - College of Integrated Chinese Medicine in Reading, UK - with Angela & John Hicks, Peter Mole. Skolen for Traditionel Kinesisk Medicin in Copenhagen, DK - with Dr. Elsebeth Laegaard and Irene Engelbrecht. Chinese Herbal Patent Medicine in Copenhagen, DK - with Charles Buck.
